Book Review: Lost and Found
Author: Andrew Clements

This story is interesting and the pictures are nice. It is a good read.
The Grayson twins are moving to another town. Again. Jay and Ray were as alike as two peas in a pod. They were always mistaken as the other twin. When they moved to another school,Ray stays home sick,so Jay is on his own. But there was no big deal. The school and pupils were great, so he did not worry. But there was something strange. His brother was like not existing in the school. There was no locker, student file for him. His name was also not on any of the attendance . So Jay and Ray take turns to go to school everyday. But what if someone finds out? Will they be in trouble?
I will recommend this book to children of all ages. It is a good read and it teaches us not to lie and cheat our school and parents. (read less)

Title: The Report Card
Author: Andrew Clements
Review by: Elizabeth Chew
I think this book is very interesting. It tells us how stupid people can make a difference. the main character is funny and intelligent.
This is a story about Nora. She is a genius, but she does not want anyone to know. She manged to get to fifth grade without anyone knowing that she is not an ordinary kid, but a genius and she wants to keep it that way. But then Nora gets fed up with the importance everyone attaches to test scores and grades, and she purposely brought home a terrible report card( straight Ds) just to prove a point. Suddenly the attention she's sucessfully avoided all her life is focused on her, and her secret is out. And that's when things start to get very complicated...
I would recommend this book for all ages as people would surely enjoy reading. (read less)

Title: Frindle
Author: Andrew Clements
Reviewed by Grace Khoo Jiamin
Frindle is a fantastic read. It is interesting and suitable for all ages. It does not teach us any value or moral, but after reading it I learnt to stand firm to my beliefs and have determination.
This book is about a boy called Nicholas. He has plenty of great ideas, and just liven up the school. He learns how words are created, and out of the blue he has an idea-creating a new word. Nick (Nicholas) stops calling a pen 'a pen' but calls it 'a frindle'. He and his good friends sign an oath to use frindle instead of pen. They use this word everywhere, and this turns the school and the town upside down, with everyone using the word. Nick's teacher wishes Nick to put this to an end, but it was impossible. Soon as companies publish new dictionaries, Nick's word was printed in the dictionary!
I think this book is great. I would recommend it to everyone. Hope whoever who reads this would also try to get the book! (read less)

Book review:The Last Holiday Concert
Author:Andrew Clements
Reviewed by:Ng Sok Hui
This book is a great read and suitable for all people. The book talks a lot about the storyline and it is interesting but there are no illustrations.
Hart Evans, which is short for Hartford, is on his way to becoming the most popular boy in Palmer Immediate, just like his last two years in Collins Elementary. His sixth- grade chorus, which is led by Mr Meinert, needs some rubber band shooting to lighten it up.Mr Meinert lets Hart take over the chorus and soon it is a mess. But most importantly, the Thanksgiving concert seems like it is going to be the last holiday concert...
I will recommend this book to children of all ages and some adults. It is interesting and teaches us about good leadership. (read less)
